Seniors Health & Fitness  “Prisca’s Active Seniors”

Our Senior’s program has been designed specifically for the over 60’s. All programs are low impact and help build muscular strength, increase mobility and balance, increase endurance and keep you moving, all in a safe, social and friendly environment.

Our qualified staff are always on hand to make sure your progress at an appropriate rate base don your goals and fitness levels. By staying active in our later years, it has been determined that there are a range of physical and mental benefits, including:

  • Improved balance and reduced risk of falls
  • Improved mental wellbing
  • Increase bone density
  • Manage a range of diseases and health conditions
  • Improved self esteem and confidence
  • Faster recovery times from illness
  • Help to maintain an independent lifestyle

Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre is for everyone, and we’d love to help you stay active, get fit and improve your general wellbeing.

Our dedicated Seniors Sessions are run in our gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and are fully supervised by one of our qualified trainers.

As a long-serving member of the Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre team, Prisca was a leader and driver of our Seniors programs for many years. As a legacy to her dedication, we have named our Seniors program ‘Prisca’s Active Seniors’ in her honour.”
